What Would Bob Do (WWBD) is a local charity based in Alabaster, AL, founded to carry out the legacy of generosity of Mr. Bob Green, Founder of Alabaster Optical & Hearing Aid Service and local optician for over 40 years. His kindness and passion to help others was his number one goal every day.
The mission of WWBD is to continue to support local communities through charitable giving meeting the needs of those in need.
I saw Bob Green today. If age were measured by happiness instead of years, this would be the oldest man I know.
I go by to see him now and then the same way I listen to Hubert Shaw sing — hoping some of it will rub off on me.
Sometimes I think they should cut his personality into little pieces, and scatter it around where there is only gloom and shadows.

Goals
To continue to support the local Police and Fire departments and personnel.
To help support the education efforts of local citizens who have the same passion to helps others.
To continue to support other local charities by helping them obtain their goals.
To continue to provide temporary assistance of local citizens who have fallen on hard times with no fault of their own.
To continue to provide eyeglasses and hearing aids to local citizens who are less fortunate and who do not qualify for other assistance.
